  26. WPL Fiber Spinning Demonstration

    There will be a demonstration of spinning fiber into yarn on Wednesday, October 15 at Winfield Public Library between the hours of 2 and 4:00 PM and we will give interested parties a chance to try it for themselves. There will be spinning wheels and drop spindles in use.

    Join us for this one-day trip to Kansas City to visit the magnificent World War I Liberty Memorial complex with its towering Monument and tour its 80,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art National World War I Museum. Registration begins Monday, August 25 at the WRC office. Deadline to register is October 14. This trip is open to those 16 & older. The minimum number needed to go is 30. Refunds will be given if a replacement can be found. This trip is being offered in conjuction with the Cowley County Historical Society and Museum.
