Business Appreciation Month 2012

The Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating Business Appreciation Month in a sweet way. Our Chamber Ambassadors, with the assistance of the Membership Committee and Board of Directors, have been out and about delivering cookies to Chamber members during the month of June. We hope you enjoy your sweet treat as a little “Thank-you” for all you do in the business community. The Winfield Chamber of Commerce is truly appreciative of all our members. This project would not have been possible without the generous help of our volunteers. We want to thank you for all your hard work and time! Peggy Stout at Aramark did a great job of baking our goodies.  Mandy Cannon-RCB Bank, not only delivered cookies to business, but made arrangements to get the cookies to us from Aramark so we could bag them up and have them ready to go. Phil Jarvis was so helpful in bagging up the cookies and delivering. He even brought along his grandchildren Sarah and Thad to help out.  The only payment requested was a cookie or two, or three. A big thanks is extended to Ed Foster, Bill Barr, LeRoy Wheeler, Celine Brazle-Citizens Bank of KS, Roger Lungren & H.T. Hittle-Buterbaugh & Handlin, Cory Helmer-Union State Bank, Donna Sandell- Webber Land Co., Roxann Taylor-JP Weigand & Sons, Inc., Anne Jarrett-City of Winfield, Alan Herrman- Alan Herrman Realty & Appraisal, Renee Price-Graves Drug, Jill Long-Long &  Neises, Lloyd Craig-Winfield Daily Courier, Willie Tuttle-Farm Bureau Financial Services, LuAnn King-Wal-mart, and Brenda Butters- Walnut Valley Title for taking time to make sure we reached as many members as possible. We hope you enjoyed your cookies!
