The Kanza Days Committee is pleased to announce plans for Kanza Days 2009!  Similar to past years, Kanza Days will incorporate a parade on Saturday, Saturday afternoon entertainment at the fairgrounds, including music, kid's activities, pedal power tractor pull, book sale, horse and pony rides, car show, poker run and more!  In addition, the popular chuck wagon cook-off will once again be held on Saturday evening at the fairgrounds - be sure to come with an appetite!!

During Kanza Days 2009, the new Island Park Playground will be taking shape as construction nears completion.  The Kanza committee plans to partner with the playground on some activities and events, as well as donating a portion of Kanza Days button sales to the playground rebuild.
